Stone Bridge

Stone Bridge is a Christian band from California. They had a performance at Grand Kampar Hotel yesterday. At first I was skeptical about this event because I don't know what is it about and  I can't find any info online. But I'm really glad I attended, no regrets.

Their band is great. From their music arrangements to their vocals, everything's perfect. This is the first time I've actually listened to a live ang moh band! Totally blown away, it's like listening straight out from a music video in Youtube haha.

They performed many christian songs, in english of course. The audience sang with them as well. After the event ended we took photos with them. My friends all went into girl-fan-mode when taking pictures with the handsome ang moh's. Screaming and shouting like seeing a superstar. So embarrassing yet funny lar hahaha.

The man in the middle looks like Jon Smicht from The Piano Guys, right??

 Pretty singer~

She's only 17!!

Jinneh said he looks like the old man from KFC LOL

They're so very happy when taking pics with these guys

She said we look very much younger than our age! Yeahhhhhhh

Last week a friend asked me: "How are you feeling today?" It took me awhile to answer it. My answer was: "I can't find peace." Because I feel very stressful and tired recently, both physically and mentally. Even with adequate sleep I still can't get myself to do anything. I felt empty. Coincidentally, that night during praise & worship practice there's a song called 安靜 by 約書亞樂團 which is one of my favourite songs. The lyrics comforted me:

我靈安息在基督裡,你大能使我安然信靠
我要安靜知你是神

And then Stone Bridge sang this same song again, just that this time is in english version called Still by Hillsong:

Find rest my soul In Christ alone, Know His power In quietness and trust
I will be still and know You are God

That moment onwards, I feel that God is trying to talk to me by using this song. Thank you Lord, I've found my solution. Only through God alone that I can find peace! Time to rest my soul by spending more time with Him. :)

UM Trip + Jogoya

A fruitful week. Other than the usual tests and quizzes, I got the chance to visit University Malaya for a National Biomedical Science Gathering. It's a 2 days 1 night trip. Our lecturer told us to prepare for the worst, as UM hostels are quite old, their tilams would be older than me already.. Fortunately, the hostel was full when we got there. So we stayed at a budget hotel with decent room condition. The hotel tau keh even asked to take a picture of all of us because he had never serve such a big crowd before. Sir, you can thank us by hanging the photo on your hotel wall :)

The event was an eye opener for me. Now I know how far can a biomedic student go. But you have to be very very hardworking to get a good pay. Which intimidates me because I don't have the confidence to get that kind of good results.. Nevertheless, it was a fun trip.

I like this photo very much! The room looks so white (except for the out-of-place towel) and we're all pretty :P

Breakfast was tooooooooooooo spicy. But the lunch was tasty.

The girl in black beside me is called Stephanie too. She's an ex-Utarian and she is our role model!

Imagine if we get to study for Masters in UM. Hehe.

I actually went to KL twice last week. Once is the UM trip, the other time is for Jogoya. From Kampar all the way to KL just for a buffet dinner, we're certainly out of our minds haha. But we never tried Jogoya before so we decided to give it a go. We saw Joseph from Germani Productions, with his girlfriend as well. So lucky!
